Community Nursing

Community nursing focuses on providing healthcare services and promoting health within a community setting. It involves delivering care that is accessible, preventive, and supportive, often in homes, schools, workplaces, and community centers. Community nurses work to address the health needs of diverse populations by offering services such as health education, disease prevention, immunizations, and chronic disease management. They also play a key role in assessing community health needs, developing and implementing health promotion programs, and advocating for policies that improve public health.
